SPi CRM Opens Second Facility in North America

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, November 8, 2017. SPi CRM, a global call center company, today unveiled to the public its new Coeur d’Alene, Idaho (CDA, ID) customer service center where agents will provide support to DISH Network subscribers.

In a meet and greet organized by the CDA Economic Development Corporation in cooperation with the CDA Chamber of Commerce, SPi CRM President and CEO Maulik Parekh and DISH Vice President for Customer Care Operations Pat Joe paid a courtesy call to Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter to formally introduce SPi CRM’s presence in Coeur d’Alene.

The inauguration of SPi CRM’s 12th global facility at Silver Lake Mall, 200 W Hanley Ave., was attended by government and community leaders headed by Coeur d’Alene City Mayor Steve Widmyer, Kootenai County Officials including Commissioner Bob Bingham and Chairman Marc Eberlein; as well as representatives of DISH Network. Maulik warmly acknowledged Mayor Widmyer and thanked everyone who graced the occasion. “We would like to thank Mayor Steve Widmyer, the CDA EDC, and Chamber, for their invaluable support.  SPi CRM is grateful to the community for welcoming us with open arms. We chose Coeur d’ Alene because of the favorable business climate, and the availability of qualified talent, but it was the vibrant people of CDA that chose us. We’ve been searching for our next location in the US, and now we’ve found it. The best-in-class service we are so proud of, now has a home here. SPi CRM today marks a new beginning in serving the needs of our clients and their customers, starting with our long-time partner DISH. We are equally excited for our employees as an even brighter future awaits them. We look forward to growing in this community as we create incredible opportunities for our employees,” Parekh said.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrates the launch of SPi CRM’s second location in North America representing an initial investment worth over $3M. With the first wave of 150 agents already supporting DISH, hiring is still ongoing for more than a hundred positions until yearend. This will further be expanded by an additional 300 seats to be filled in by next year, reaching a total headcount of over 550 in 2018. Mayor Widmyer congratulated SPi CRM on the grand opening and expressed high hopes for the company in generating more jobs and stimulating the city’s economy in the medium and long-term.

Locating the center of excellence in Coeur d’Alene is a great fit given the region’s appreciation for nature and recreation.”

“We also look forward to volunteering together in Coeur d’Alene as part of DISH Cares, our company’s corporate citizenship program that is dedicated to community service and sustainability,” Swieringa added.

DISH and SPi CRM employees will be volunteering this week at Children’s Village and Head Start.
